Black Dog Home Solutions (“BDHS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy, safety, and rights of our customers. This Privacy Policy and Service Disclaimer explains what information we collect, how it is used, how it is protected, and the responsibilities of both parties during in-home services, repairs, consultations, and technology assistance. 

By hiring BDHS, using our website, or communicating with us, you agree to the terms below. 

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT We may collect the following information for the purpose of providing services:
A. Personal Information – Name – Address – Phone number – Email address – Property details relevant to the service – Photographs of project areas (before/after) 

B. Sensitive Information (Technology Services) When assisting with WiFi, phones, computers, TVs, networks, streaming accounts, or other technology, you may voluntarily share or display sensitive data. Examples include passwords, logins, account details, documents, or network/WiFi information. We do NOT store or retain any passwords unless explicitly authorized in writing. 

C. Payment Information We do not store full credit card numbers. Payments processed by third-party services are subject to their individual privacy policies.
2. HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED We use your information to schedule services, verify identity, communicate, invoice, and maintain required business records. We do NOT sell or rent your information to outside marketers. 

3. DATA SECURITY We follow reasonable industry standards to protect your information. However, no digital system is 100% secure. By using our services, you acknowledge you share information at your own risk.
4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY WITH SENSITIVE DATA BDHS is not responsible for unauthorized access to accounts if passwords were shared or displayed, pre-existing device issues, malware, corrupted data, or third-party service outages. 

5. IN-HOME SERVICE LIABILITY & SAFETY POLICY Customers agree to provide safe access, secure pets, remove valuables, and notify us of hazardous conditions. BDHS is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden problems, or injury resulting from misuse of installed items. 

6. PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE By hiring BDHS, you grant permission for non-identifying photographs or short videos of completed work to be used for marketing. We never share faces, full addresses, identifying items, or images of children. You may opt out in writing at any time. 

7. COMMUNICATION CONSENT By contacting BDHS, you consent to receive texts, calls, emails, updates, and invoices. You may opt out of non-essential communication.


8. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY Appointments may be rescheduled with reasonable notice. Last-minute cancellations may incur a service fee depending on travel and time invested. 

9. CHILD & PET SAFETY DISCLAIMER Children and pets must be kept away from active work areas. BDHS is not responsible for injury resulting from being near tools, equipment, or materials. 

10. THIRD-PARTY VENDORS & PRODUCTS Product warranties belong to manufacturers, not BDHS. Customer-supplied materials may limit warranty options.


11. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY BDHS may update this policy at any time.

12. SMS MESSAGING. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
